Armenia’s Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigarn Khachatryan and World Bank Armenia Country Manager Sylvie Bossoutrot met today in Yerevan and discussed measures designed to expand cooperation between Armenia and the financial institution.

According to a ministry press release. Khachatryan and Bossoutrot also discussed steps designed to improve Armenia’s rating in the World Bank’s 2018 Doing Business Report that ranks 190 economies on how easy it is to do business, taking into account trading regulations, property rights, contract enforcement, investment laws, the availability of credit and a number of other factors.

Armenia ranked 47th in Doing Business 2018.
