Armenian Police Chief Goes After Major Crime Figures in Lori
Armenian Chief of Police Valery Osipyan sat down with his top brass to discuss the spate of major crime in the country’s Lori Province.
Osipyan, according to a police press release, told those gathered, including First Deputy Police Chief Arman Sargsyan and officials from the Lori Anti-Crime Unit, that such major crimes are unacceptable and merely prove that the police aren’t doing their job.
Osipyan ordered a series of measures designed to apprehend and prosecute those responsible for such crimes.
