
Pashinyan Sits Down with Top Business Leaders; Discuss Investment and Jobs
Acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan threw a “working dinner” yesterday for a group of influential local businessmen and representatives of large taxpaying companies during which, according to a government press release, issues related to improving the investment environment, reforming the tax code, and fighting corruption were discussed.
The business leaders welcomed Pashinyan’s economic policy, especially the planned for tax reforms that include streamlining the tax sector.
Pashinyan said that the objectives his government has set cannot be achieved without successes in the business sector, adding that he wants to cooperate with the business sector to create new jobs and employment opportunities.
