Armenian Government Shoots for 4.9% Economic Growth in 2019
Armenia’s National Assembly is debating the country’s 2019 draft budget.
Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan told MPs that the government’s bill is based on the existing demographics and methodology.
Janjughazyan said the government seeks economic growth of 4.9%, adding that the government has purposely raised the bar in order to spur increased growth.
The parliament’s Standing Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the draft budget.
