
Government Allocates AMD 50 Million in College Tuition Assistance to April "Four Day War" Vets and Others
The Armenian government today approved the expenditure of AMD 50 million ($103,000) to partially pay the higher education tuition fees for those who served in the Armenian Army and saw action during the 2016 “Four Day War” (April 2-6), as well as for students showing accelerated academic progress who have two or more minor children.
Tuition fees for the 649 ex-army students and the 112 students in the second category will have 20% of their college fees paid under the program.
