European Council – “Political parties haven’t fully participated in Local Self-Governance elections”
At a recent session of the Khachatur Abovyan State Teachers College Council, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan instructed the dean of Yerevan State University to raise salaries of the teaching staff by 40% by the end of the year.
Commenting on the recent local elections in Vanadzor, Karen Toumanyan, an independent candidate who ran for mayor and lost, told Hetq that the election was rife with violations.
