Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) says that in response to the recent inflammatory actions of the armed group holding a Yerevan police building, all necessary measures will be taken to safeguard the lives of law enforcement officials.

SasnaDzrer, the armed group that seized a Yerevan police patrol building on July 17 reports that police opened fire on the compound at 2 a.m. this morning, wounding two of its members. The two were taken to hospital.
Marchers, numbering around 2,500, demanded the resignation of President Sargsyan and the release of political prisoners.
