Israeli police arrested six government and military officials on Sunday in connection with alleged corruption in a US$2 billion deal to buy submarines and naval vessels from a German company.
Basen is a village in Armenia’s Shirak province. It’s been entitled a “Green Village” since 2013, with the introduction of renewable energy and new agricultural technologies there. The village’s kindergarten, with an enrollment of sixty, has served as an experimental unit.

Some twenty hectares of brushland and forest have burnt near the village of Byurakan in Armenia’s Aragatzotn Province.
