Armenia has submitted applications for the sites to UNESCO and, according to Armenia’s Ministry of Culture, the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee now taking place in Paris has approved their applications for inclusion in the UNESCO
Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien met today in Yerevan and discussed prospects to further develop defense cooperation between their two countries.
