On September 17, Catholicos Karekin II hosted participants of the Amrots Foundation's international conference, "Land of Noah: Christianity After Postmodernism", at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
Ruben Vardanyan, held at the Umbaki penitentiary complex with eighteen other Armenian citizens, refers to the Code on the Execution of Sentences and to the booklet on prisoners' rights that the Commissioner's office handed to the detainees in April.
The exhibition also features another remarkable artifact from the historical homeland: a bellows made in the late 19th century.
Pashinyan is set to receive the Hessian Peace Prize at the Hessian State Parliament in Wiesbaden, a distinction honoring his dedication to forging peace in the South Caucasus.
