Opposition MP Garnik Danielyan, who has come to public attention as one of the leaders of the “Tavush for the Homeland” movement, addressed the crowd and said the government is “frightened” by the ongoing rallies and street protests in Yerevan.
One woman, who told Hetq that she joined Nikol Pashinyan who led a 2018 country-wide march on Yerevan to depose then President Serzh Sargsyan, has now joined the protesters seeking to oust Pashinyan.
