World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Armenia reports that a rare Caucasian leopard has been spotted and photographed in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Province by Arpa Protected Landscape rangers.

The organization says this is the first time a leopard has been videotaped live in the wild.

Before this, the cautious animal had only been photographed by trip cameras.
