
$1.175M to House 1988 Spitak Earthquake Homeless
The government of Armenia today decided to allocate 560 million drams (US$1.175 million) to resolve the housing issues faced by people left homeless by the 1988 Spitak Earthquake.
Urban Development Committee Chairman Vahagn Vermishyan told members of the government that 61 families would be provided apartments and that a portion of the funds would go towards repairing 31 residential homes.
