Unsuccessful Matches Drop Armenia Three Spots in FIFA Rankings

Armenia has dropped three spots, to 99th place, in the October FIFA rankings published today.

Armenia now shares 99th place with Palestine.

The national squad’s point score has also dropped, from 1242 to 1226.

This retreat is the result of October's unsuccessful matches, in which Armenia first drew 1-1 with Liechtenstein, then lost 0-3 to Finland.

Belgium remains the leader in the world rankings, followed by France, Brazil, England, Uruguay, Portugal, Croatia, Spain, Argentina, Colombia.

Italy, one of Armenia’s opponent in the Euro 2020 10th Group, retained its global 15th ranking.

Bosnia and Herzegovina dropped to two spots and is now ranked 48th, Finland - 55th (-1), Greece - 58th (+2), Liechtenstein - 181st (+1).
