The Armenian National Assembly, by a vote of 77-37, adopted the draft state budget for 2020.

The only MPs voting in favor of the bill were from the Im Kayl (My Step) faction, which enjoys a parliamentary majority.

Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia MPs opposed the bill.

The government says the budget will ensure 4.9% economic growth.

Those opposed to the bill claim it isn’t “revolutionary”.
