Armenia: Number of COVID-19 Cases Now Stands at 52

Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan today confirmed that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to fifty-two

Twelve of the 22 new cases are said to be linked to a betrothal ceremony in the Armavir town of Etchmiadzin, the seat of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Torosyan, in a Facebook post, said that a few of the new cases are linked to a Yerevan workshop employee who earlier tested positive for the virus.

Hello
Thank you for your translated reporting. Can we learn about the other 10 cases that weren’t in Etchmiadsin? Where is the factory? How were the other 10 cases spread? Where have those people traveled to? Without information, we cannot know who may have had contact with infected people, and the disease spreads wider.
