3 Armenian Soldiers Test Positive for COVID-19
Armenian Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan reported today that three military servicemen have tested positive for Covid-19.
Tonoyan said that the three were from a military unit not involved in active combat operations.
The three have been hospitalized and are in satisfactory condition.
Tonoyan said that while the ministry is doing all it can to protect military personnel from the coronavirus, this remains impossible since many soldiers are in daily contact with civilians.
The minster said that another 32 servicemen have been tested for the virus.
