Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan today telephoned his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, and the two discussed steps the two countries are taking to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, emphasizing the need for cooperation, mutual assistance and information exchange.

The two, according to the statement released by Mnatsakanyan’s office, touched upon several issues on the agenda of Armenian-Russian relations, cooperation within the framework of international and regional structures.

They also discussed the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
