Bright Armenia parliamentary faction head Edmon Marukyan, in a live Facebook post today, said that his party has a roadmap to extricate Armenia from what he called the “ongoing political crisis” following the November 9 Karabakh ceasefire deal.

“We have been in crisis for several days now, there are many discussions, but no political force has yet said how to get out of this crisis, Marukyan said, warning that if the bad blood on both sides of the political divide boil over it would lead to more violence and irreversible consequences for the country.

“If we have such shocks in the country, we will lose Armenia," he said.

Marukyan said that Nikol Pashinyan, the symbol of defeat, must leave and that the parliament would elect an interim prime minister. A transitional government would comprise the most qualified people in their fields.

He stressed that such a process would maintain high-level Russian-Armenian relations.
