Pashinyan Says Bodies of 300 Armenian Combatants Recovered in Shushi
At today’s special parliamentary session, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said that the bodies of 300 Armenian combatants have been recovered from Shushi in the past two days.
“Can you imagine the scale of that battle? And there are people who say that the generals or the political leadership gave the order not to fight. So, who gave the order for those guys to go and fight?” asked Pashinyan, attempting to counter allegations that Armenians waged an insufficient battle for the fortress town.
He said that the ceding of Shushi to Azerbaijan was a precondition for ending the war.
Pashinyan also verified that he has accepted the Foreign Minister Zohrab’s Mnatsakanyan’s resignation.
