
Minister Highlights Education, Science Problems in Post-War Armenia
Armenian Minister of Education and Science Vahram Dumanyan, at a parliamentary hearing today on the topic of science as a pillar of security and development, said the country’s economy cannot develop with an educated public.
Dumanyan said that the role of science and education in post-war Armenia needs to be reviewed and certain problems addressed.
He told MPS that not enough is being spent on education and that many talented young professional leave Armenia to seeks better career paths.
Dumanyan said that national security isn’t only based on military might but on spiritual and humanitarian values.
