Armenian Parliament Discusses Court of Cassation Presidential Election

The Armenian National Assembly today is debating the issue of electing Lilit Tadevosyan president of the Court of Cassation.

Tadevosyan was nominated to the post by the Supreme Judicial Council.

Tadevosyan has been the Chairman of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation since 2018.  

Update: Tadevosyan was elected to the post by a vote of 102-1.
