Acting Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today threatened to confiscate the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) shares owned by the “oligarchs” and turn them into state assets.

Pashinyan, at a campaign rally today in Kapan, said he had received reports that ZCMC management has instructed workers not to meet with him, threatening them with dismissal if they did.

"I say you have crossed all the red lines. I say from this rostrum, the local oligarchs, who have shares in the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine, will see those shares going to the people and the government," Pashinyan said.
