Pashinyan Hopes Armenia Has Closed Page on Fraudulent Elections
Armenian Acting PM Nikol Pashinyan, at a government cabinet session today, expressed the hope that the country “has finally and irreversibly turned the page of falsifying election results.”
Pashinyan noted that all international and local election observers have said that the June 20 snap parliamentary election was free and fair and met all accepted democratic standards.
He said that criminal cases have been initiated on allegation of election bribes and the illegal use of force/intimidation to sway voters.
