
MP Aleksanyan's Natali Pharm Gets Fined 50 Million AMD
Today, the RA State Committee to Protect Economic Competitiveness announced that it would be fining drug importer and retailer Natali Pharm 50 million AMD for unfair business practices.
The company, owned by MP Samvel Aleksanyan, is the largest drug importer inArmeniaand has a chain of retail pharmacies.
6 other companies with a much smaller share of the medicine market got away with a stern warning by the committee to put a halt to any type of domestic collusion preventing others from entering the market.
The study was launched after Heritage Party MPs received a complaint from one such firm that established players were placing artificial roadblocks in their way.
