
Armenia's Football Team Drops to 95th Place in FIFA Ranking
Armenia’s national football squad, following recent defeats to Kosovo and the Czech Republic, has dropped from 94th to 95th place according to today’s updated FIFA ranking.
World champion Argentina continues to top FIFA’s ranking of 210 national teams, followed by France, Belgium, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Croatia.
Georgia advanced two spots to 75th, and Azerbaijan advanced one spot to 112th. Russia advanced three spots to 35th place and Turkey dropped five spots to 40th place. Iran maintains its 20th place ranking.
In the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League, Armenia (League C) has upcoming matches with Macedonia (69th world ranking0, Faroe Islands (133), and Latvia (136).
The Armenian national squad faces Slovenia (57) in a friendly match in Ljubljana on June 7, and will host Kazakhstan's national team, ranked 103rd, in Yerevan.
