
Shengavit Court President's Hefty Bank Account
According to RA law, all judges, their spouses and dependent children, must file annual financial disclosure statements.
Here’s what Sourik Kostanyan (President of the Shengavit District Court) has officially declared.
Kostanyan has served as Shengavit president since January 2006. Before this, he served as President of the Erebouni and Noubarashen Court.
In 2005, he declared 4,080,227 AMD in revenues; consisting of his wages.
In 2011, he declared 9,078,639 AMD in revenues; consisting of his salary and other payments.
At the start of 2011, Kostanyan had 16,500,000 AMD in bank deposits, which increased to 20 million by year’s end. He also had $20,000 which remained unchanged.
His wife Arousyak declared a salary of 400,000 AMD in 2011 and 3 million AMD in the bank. She had an additional deposit of $3,000 which rose to $3,500 by year’s end.
