Vardan Sedrakyan: "A deal has been struck between Hayrikian and the government"
Presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakyan told reporters today that he believes that a “deal” has been struck between Paryur Hayrikian and the government that might lead to Hayrikian being offered a position in the post-election government.
“The campaign has been turned into a marketplace of relations. I am certain that Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan also entered the presidential race as a result of some agreement with the government,” Sedrakyan said.
Sedrakyan, who trails all other candidates in the polls, nevertheless expressed an idealistic note when he told reporters that he would win the election.
“I will win because my platform is credible. I will unite the three presidents and bring the state to its feet. After the election, I will dissolve the parliament and call for new elections,” Sedrakyan said.
