The government of Armenia today decided to postpone the payment of VAT for a company called Tiger Group Ltd., which was founded by the children of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) MP Ruben Gevorgyan.

According to the state registry of the justice ministry, Tiger Group was founded by Armenouhie and Petros Gevorgyan.

The company plans to import 3.1 billion AMD (US$6.5 million) worth of goods for a project that will culminate in the region’s largest fitness and health facility, in addition to a family entertainment center in Armenia.

Many of the items are being imported from Turkey.
