Alis Kasaryan was born in western Armenia in 1909. She repatriated to Armenia in 1947, along with thousands of others.
On April 26, Armenia officially pays homage to the men and women defending the nation’s borders. In the run-up to the holiday, President Serzh Sargsyan visited the new border patrol complex in the Davitashen district of Yerevan.
