Last week I and two friends hopped in a Japanese jeep and headed off from Yerevan for the reopening of the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Kirakos in Diyarbekir, Turkey.
Zenne Dancer, a groundbreaking Turkish indie feature film, won five awards at the largest film festival in Turkey. Norayr Kasper, a Canadian cinematographer of Armenian descent, was awarded Best Cinematography.
On 27 October Cecilia Malmström, Commissioner for Home Affairs, Jerzy Miller, Poland's Minister of the Interior and Administration, and Edward Nalbandian, Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, officially launched a new Mobility Partnership.
