Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan today addressed the U.N. Security Council regarding the situation in Nagorno Karabakh following Azerbaijan’s September 19 military attack.
“More than 800 units of firearms, grenades, mortars, anti-tank guided missiles and hand-held anti-aircraft missile systems were handed over today," the peacekeepers said in a statement.”
People started rallying in the Armenian capital following Azerbaijan’s September 19 attack on Karabakh.
Stepanakert resident Ani Hovhannisyan's younger daughter had just been brought home from school by her husband's aunt on September 19 when Azerbaijan launched its attack on Artsakh.
The European Commission will provide 500,000 Euros of humanitarian aid to support the population affected by military operations in Artsakh, according to the Commission’s Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations department (DG ECHO).
