Policy Forum Armenia (PFA, www.pf-armenia.org) announces the publication of a Special Report on “Armenia: Averting an Economic Catastrophe.”
The European Union’s (EU) nature generally, and its ‘actorness’ in the Eastern neighborhood particularly, are often misunderstood by a large proportion of Armenian policy makers, the expert community, journalists and the general public.
It has become clear by now that the ongoing financial crisis will have a deep and prolonged impact on a wide range of economies. This is also likely to be true for a peripheral economy like Armenia’s, regardless of how isolated its relevant sectors are from the rest of the world.
