France: Committee to Coordinate Emergency Aid to Armenia, Artsakh
The Armenian Foundation of France, the Aznavour Foundation and AGBU France have announced the establishment of a committee to coordinate the process of providing emergency humanitarian assistance to Karabakh and Armenia.
On Thursday, November 12, French President Emanuel Macron received representatives of charities at the Elysée Palace to reaffirm France's support for Armenia and Artsakh following the ceasefire.
The following charitable organizations took part in the meeting at the invitation of the Presidency of the Republic: the Armenian Foundation of France (represented by the President of the Foundation Bedros Terzian); Aznavour Foundation (represented by the Foundation's Executive Director Christina Aznavour) and the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) France (represented by Nadia Gortsunian, President of the Union). Yuri Djorkaeff, Nikola Aznavour, Andre Manukian and Stefan Hasbanian were also present at the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, a working group was formed together with the Crisis Resolution Support Center under the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support the initiatives of charitable organizations supporting Armenia.
