Norashen 2007 Court Date Postponed Due to Death of Defendant's Brother
Today’s session in the Ajapnyak and Davtashen District Court, at which Lousabek Samvelyan, the former assistant to the president of the Norashen 2007 consumer cooperative charged with defrauding clients out of money paid for the purchase of apartments, was scheduled to testify in a Yerevan court tomorrow was postponed until March 28.
Samvelyan never appeared, claiming that her brother had died and that she was in no fit state to testify.
When Judge Marineh Melkonyan announced the postponed many in the court voiced their displeasure.
Samvelyan and Norashen 20007 former president Armen Tedevosyan are charged with swindling apartment buyers out of millions of AMD.
