Yerevan police will soon allow some thirty reporters to enter the police patrol building in Yerevan’s Erebouni district seized on Sunday by the Sasna Dzrer armed group.
Azerbaijani gunfire killed Artsakh Defense Army (ADA) serviceman Arsen Arakelyan earlier today while on patrol at a military unit in the southeast of the country, this according to the NKR Ministry of Defense.
The Sasna Dzrer armed group has released its last two hostages, Yerevan Deputy Police Chief Valeri Osipyan and Armenia Deputy Police Chief Vardan Yeghiazaryan.
A large explosion rocked the Alaverdi Copper-Molybdenum Metallurgy Factory yesterday evening, sending two workers to the hospital.
For the past five days, the press hasn’t been allowed to contact members of the Sasna Dzrer group holed up inside the police building. Police have cordoned off the area, not allowing any media access.
Many in the crowd raised their arms to show that they weren’t armed and that there was no reason for police to disperse them.
