Nevertheless, Sargsyan’s 37-year-old son Vardan is not listed in Armenia’s voter registry. Hayk, Sargsyan’s 34-year-old son, is listed in the registry, under the same address as his father.
According to AzerTac, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev ordered the election “guided by Item 1 of Article 101 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in accordance with Article 179 of the Election Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
