SADA Systems is a cloud consulting and technology services company. Founded in 2000 in the U.S. by Hovig and Annie Safoian, it’s one of the fastest growing companies in Los Angeles. Since 2002, the company has been headed by their son, Tony Safoian, named a Finalist for the Ernst and Young 2015 Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Armenian International Gold LLC prospected the site in 2011-2014, and International Gold LLC carried out exploratory work in 2015-2017.
In a February 23, 2018 article, Hetq revealed that Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had signed a one- time monetary award decree on December 20, 2017 to “encourage municipality employees for their good work”, but that the total amount of money and the number of awarded employees wasn’t clear.
Sarkissian, the only candidate for the post, was the nominee of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia and its junior coalition partner, the ARF.
