The Israeli Globes financial newspaper reports that Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has successfully completed demonstration operations of the Barak MX missile interception system in Azerbaijan.
The warning was picked up by Aviation International News (AIN), which quotes Dyami CEO Eric Scouten saying “This is a truly dangerous emerging hotspot.”
“Azerbaijan must provide internationally verifiable assurances of respect for their rights and their ability to remain in their homes and live without fear,” Kim said at the hearing.
The exercise is also planned to prepare the Armenian 12th Peacekeeping Brigade for a NATO Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) evaluation under the NATO Partnership for Peace program later this year.
