It is not the first time the Police of the Republic of Armenia have reminded Mister Raffi Hovhannisyan and the participants of the meetings organized by him that in all states including Armenia there is not and can't exist a right to conduct meetings which demand a preliminary notice addressed to relevant bodies without any notice, to gather in preferable places, give instructions to the police officers not having that power.
A group of well-wishers from the village of Katnajour were on hand at the entrance to Spitak to welcome Raffi Hovannisian and his “Victory Tour”.
At a press conference today in Yerevan, Pre-Parliament civil initiative representative Jirayr Sefilian told reporters that they would do everything possible to sustain the energy of Raffi Hovannisian’s movement.
As promised, Raffi Hovannisian took his “victory celebration” on the road today and his first stop was the town of Ashtarak about a 45 minute drive from Yerevan.
Minutes ago Hovannisian’s “Victory Tour” made an unexpected stop in Aparan on the way to Vanadzor. He was immediately surrounded by local residents and an impromptu conversation took place on the street.
We will gather on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 11:30 am in front of St. Mary's Armenian Apostolic Church on Central Avenue and march towards the Armenian Consulate in Los Angeles to show our solidarity with the people of Armenia.
