Police detained tens of demonstrators who had gathered outside the security cordon surrounding the police building now under the control of the armed Sasna Dzrer group since July 17.
“It can be said that we have accomplished our mission. The people have risen up and are demonstrating and committing acts of disobedience. We hear about it on the radio. The people must rise up,” Avetisyan told the news site.
The criminal case has been dropped based on the finding.
The institutions of the parliament, the president and even the Ombudsman were in total inaction, leaving the problem solving to the police and the National Security Service and further escalating the tension.
