Armenia’s Environmental Protection and Mining Inspectorate has launched a two-week investigation into the operations of the Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) based in the southern town of Kajaran in Syunik Province.
Silva Adamyan, who represents the Yerevan Community Alliance, says that the former regime conducted a policy of consumerism regarding the Armenian capital.
The 312-meter tower was built in 1977 on Nork Hill overlooking downtown Yerevan.

“At least one-quarter of all MPs have contacted me about forming an examing committee to investigate the prevention of justice, the right to a fair trial, and the violation of secrecy of telephone conversations. A special session will be held, at the initiative of the MPs, immediately after the next sessions,” Babloyan said.
