Directing her words at Sargsyan, Postanjyan exclaimed, “You didn’t show up her tonight because you fear the just vote of the people.”
Ghazarian addressed the crowd saying, “For years many have criticized the Armenian people for not being able to defend their rights. Today, the people have stood up and voted their will.”
At a rally this evening in Yerevan’s Freedom Square, Raffi Hovannisian called on his supporters to return tomorrow to witness the arrival of Serzh Sargsyan and the ultimate transfer of power to the people.
“Pettiness and evil are things in all of us. But here, in this holy place, we have overcome that fear,” Hovannisian declared.
Bakhshyan declared that there was no doubt in her mind that Hovannisian had garnered twice the 37% of votes as published by the Central Electoral Commission.
