The Heritage Party today called on RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan to set up a committee to look into the problems facing five rural communities in Syunik as a result of a government decision this April declaring their lands “eminent domain”.
Thus, if the government declares eminent domain and gives land to the plant, it must first sit down and consult with the people affected before taking such a decision.
