Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan yesterday, by telephone, discussed the recent fighting along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border with his Cypriot Nikos Christodoulides.

According to an Armenian Foreign Ministry statement, Christodoulides condemned the Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia and its targeting of civilians.

The statement says the two ministers touched upon issues of stability and security in the region and that Mnatsakanyan noted that Turkey's unconditional support for Azerbaijani aggression is very worrying and further proof of Turkey’s policy of inciting instability in the region.
