Shortly after the sun peaked through the windows of our room, a red pen scratched paper to begin these daily entries. The ideas occurred days before, but they were always blurry and disorganized.
The positivity of my day began with the early end of my work hours – 14:00 (2PM) – when Edik complimented my writing ability. His compliments were in regard to my first article – the first part of my adoption journal. At this time, I had not begun writing these entries yet.
It was a Wednesday night, approaching 21:00 (11PM). We had just returned home from an evening outing and still had plenty of energy to spare.
I walked into a particular room of the AGBU YSIP house: The terrace. As always, it was surreal. The terrace is a room with two modern picnic tables aligned together, creating a communal.
Anna swept and swerved between the byzantine labyrinth of pot holes, unexpected bumps, and courageous pedestrians with the masterfulness of a native. Though this prior description may awaken the feeling of danger to a reader, I had already made the decision to put my trust in Anna – one of our two supervisors – with the steering-wheel of my well-being.
