The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) of Armenia says it has initiated several criminal cases regarding the anti-Serzh Sargsyan protests that have taken place in Yerevan over the past few days and the damage to public and private property they have caused.
Police and anti-Serzh Sargsyan protesters clashed today near Yerevan State University.
Individuals heeding the call of Nikol Pashinyan, who’s spearheading a movement to prevent Serzh Sargsyan from becoming the next prime minister of Armenia, have launched a series of actions designed to shut down Yerevan’s main intersections, bridges and the subway.
